Character Pumpkin Book Report Freebie!

So we have all seen those adorable pumpkins on Pinterest where they look like the characters in our favorite stories.  I pitched it to my team today and guess what we are doing for our October Family Project (so excited!)

I looked around and could not really figure out where or how or the detail of the project.  So I created a letter for the project and here it is for FREE!

The letter if free of Halloween and 100% educational!  Please feel free to use and share with those who may also want to do this project!

Cooperative Learning Kinder Challenge and Freebie!

Does the thought of Cooperative Learning scare you?  Don't let it!  It's easy, fun, super engaging, and all kids learn best from each other!  Using this structure will get kids practice with initial sounds at a perky pace that kids will really love!  Don't worry, I am here to help!

Your challenge this week is to incorporate the Kagan Cooperative Learning structure called Four Corners!  It's very simple and I am even going to give you the tools you need (well, minus the paper, tape, and well... kids of course!)

Snap Cubes Dilema (And a freebie)

Went to a workshop over the summer and got this great idea.  Here it is with a freebie! 
So now we are using snap cubes to copy figures.  It’s great!  The kids count as they create the objects exactly how they are on the card. 

My favorites are the numbers, so here they are for free of course.  As I make others for thematic units, I will post those as well too!  (I already have my zoo ones done if you look in my store.)
