Free Snow FUN!
Hello Science Friends,
I wanted to share with you a freebie that I have made for my class to practice patterning. I have uploaded it to my TpT store for you to grab. I am having a sale at both of my stores through the end of the year! I have been working on seasonal sorts to give my class more practice with sorting and classification and I needed a few things on hand for our Science Notebooks. We all have loved notebooking through Science this year. I am looking forward to all things Science and sharing those experiences on this blog. I am running to my mailbox each day waiting on something so scientifically fantastic to share with you in the coming days but I guess for now the freebie will have to do!

Catch Up Time!
Wow! It has been SOOO long since I have posted! It has been CRAZY BUSY! Here are a few thing that we have done lately. Please check out my blog to see my other recent posts.
Here are a few pictures of some recent activities.
I is for igloo.....
and for ice cream! We made ice cream in Ziploc Bags. If you would like a copy of our recipe page that I send home with the kids, leave me a comment with your email.
Here are our adoreable reindeer that we made! Aren't they cute! This was a Reindeer Glyph that I purchased from First Grade Blue Skies TPT Store! We will be using more from this packet next week as we study the letter R!
Here are our stockings!!! Each year I grab the 50 cent stocking at the Dollar Tree at 50% off the day after Christmas. The following year, I have a parent volunteer puffy paint their names on them. We then hang them in the room for about two weeks. Each child is invited to bring a SMALL item to place in each child's stocking. Such ideas include a wrapped piece of candy, candy cane, holiday pencil, eraser, bubbles, bouncy ball, etc. We also have a Writing Station that kids make cards for their classmates. It is set up so that each child will get two cards from classmates. Bringing in items for the stockings is OPTIONAL. The nice thing about this is that if someone does not bring in an item, nobody will ever know. At the party, they get to open their stockings. It is so much fun for all of us to watch them ooooh and aaaah over all of their trinkets!
Here is our current bulletin board. We decorated the trees in class and the gingerbread men were done at home as a family project.

New Authors
Hello Blogger friends,
Recently MMG has received many emails from fellow teacher bloggers asking to be added as authors. In the last few months we had not accepted any new authors due to the time constraints with school being in full swing. Now that we feel we are in a good groove with school, we have decided to add new authors. If you are interested in being an author please email us at meanmygang@gmail.com.
The authors at MMG are what make this blog possible. We are so grateful to all the teacher who continue to share their wonderful ideas and we look forward to adding new authors to our gang soon.
Stephie & Monica
